Debut record by this new band from Minneapolis. Honestly, I’m at as much of a loss as to how to describe this band as everyone else seems to be (‘Theirs is a cataclysmic post-hardcore sound similar to the Bronx or Metz played with a ferocity that leaves an impact on minds and eardrums alike.’, ‘ Part Am-Rep style bulldozer, part shoegaze guitars.’ – various local press), but I’ll say that the first time I heard this band, I described them as ‘one of the loudest bands i’ve seen in a long time. in my weird head, they sound like why the vss full length was reissued on hydra head?!’. SO.
