The 12 Songs songs have a dreamy feeling, an intense and stirring atmosphere, and the record which has been mastered in Toronto by Noah Mintz (known for his work with Broken Social Scene, Feist, The National, Hayden and many others) has such a tight and compact production and an exciting orchestration we never had any doubt this would be the right record for us. It s not surprising that John K. Samson from The Weakerthans is a fan of of this Canadian band headed by Jonathan Anderson. It takes a fews listens getting into the songs on the record further and further, step by step just like a puzzle that becomes a whole thing by putting one piece to another. Before you put the whole picture on your wall. This is definitely a growing record. An entrancing record.
