Delorean s/t cd
Dance music for the new millennium.
Delorean arrives from Zarautz, four night owls who have just offered us the most danceable, contagious, syncopated and hot album of the season. After their pop origins with a sound close to Seam, Get Up Kids or Rentals that resulted in their first work Silohuettes (2001) on Underhill Records, Delorean have managed to bring together in their first work for BCore the darkness and coldness of eighties pop (New Order, The Cure, even Kraftwerk) with the punk attitude and self-confidence of current bands along the lines of The Rapture, The Faint or Sunshine.
During the time that has elapsed between the release of their debut and this homonymous Delorean, the band has been giving concerts throughout the country, including their selection for the Villa de Bilbao, the tour with John Palmoore or their performance at Aina's last concert in Barcelona. Little by little the evolution of the band leads them to specify their sound; an increasingly groovy bass, increasingly syncopated drums and increasingly present synthesizers. The result: an album with a totally overwhelming sense of dance, rhythm, and nocturnality.
Atmospheric guitars, addictive rhythms and melodies that stay in your head from the first listen. Neon lights, cold sounds and cheeky attitude in one of the best albums to come out this year. 9 danceable, rhythmic and catchy punk pop songs on a CD that will make people talk. to sweat in
