Craig Lee Dempsey – 22:00 cassette
Craig Dempsey (of US Prisms, Ben Trickey Full Band, The Weight, Thoroughbred, At the Price of the Union and many more) has issued his long overdue solo album of expansive, cinematic, and alarmingly beautiful instrumental ambient/drone. Dempsey has been working and refining his approach to guitar and synth based compositions for some time, mostly as a member of improvisation based heavy drone band US Prisms and as a collaborator on scores for Atlanta based filmmakers.
