"The Christmas album is not something that reminds us of positive connections. At times, however, one hears Christmas-themed recordings that fall. On the heavier side, Viikatte's Christmas album has pleased its own ears, on the lighter side, the two-song Christmas single by the longing queen Viola is at least reasonably attractive.
Continuing the series of If Society's uncomplicated seven-inch ones, Maija Itkonen's Lost Christmas swing with atmospheric oboe and horn and Anu's keyboards, as well as a more lively Leaving Home On Christmas Eve flavored with oboe and Pauliina Koskela's horn. While the sevens are still served “Christmas-packaged” and with a great card with title notes (pictured), the sevens will make the most perfect Christmas present.
