Margarita s/t 10"

After four years without publishing anything, Margarita is back on the scene with a shiny new EP. Six songs that condense the best of the group, everything that they have won over stupid rock and pop stagnation in all these years. A vibrant world in which the post-core of its beginnings is colonized by psychedelia, catchy melodies, and expansive euphoria. Here you will find all those elements that have made them transcendent as a band: the spasmodic breaks, the impossible harmonies, the cruising speed and the intensity of the punk substrate.

The complicity of Sergio Pérez (Svper, Joe Crepúsculo) at the controls has been crucial for this album. It is noticeable how Sergio has understood his task very well and has rounded off the sound full of edges and stridency of those from Villaviciosa de Odón. The end result is superbly balanced: loud and soft, low and sharp.

Perhaps for all this, they have chosen to title the EP with their own name: Margarita. As if after many years of searching, they finally delivered those songs that define them perfectly, which culminate a process that began a few years ago. In any case, whatever they do (tropical noise, core psychedelia or who knows), it's true that few sound like them. Compact, powerful but with a pop hook and positivism in abundance. unique.
