The Classic Plus is an Atlanta based music collective consisting of a handful of the city's greatest player's. Spearheaded by DJ/Producer Ryan Rasheed (Leb-Laze, Prefuse 73) and legendary studio tycoon Coby C, Classic Plus' other core members include guitarist Randy Castallo (Tight Bros Network, The Flakes), drummer Ben Lawless (King Congregation, Bon Vivants) and Mathis Hunter (Good Friday Experiment, Noot D' Noot). "Bangladesh, Part I & II" is the group's highly anticipated follow up to a handful of bangin' club shows played throughout the city last year. While loosely basing their sound on timeless mood music produced by the likes of Yes, Neu, Ennio Morricone and Funkadelic, Classic Plus pay just much homage to their own southern roots, as hints of southern rock are swallowed whole by unrelenting crunk rhythms, bred deep in the Atlanta backwoods. Listen as anxiety ridden synths float leisurely alongside syncopated drones of epic proportions. Your mind is where it's at, and Classic Plus knows this!
