“Sons of Tonatiuh was conceived on 4/25/08 at 10:00 pm. The concept behind SOT consists of recognizing where we as a human race came from, what it means to be immortal, and how important it is to understand the history of the native world.
The history behind SOT begins with Dan who was introduced to Jake through a mutual friend. Jake jammed with Dan a few times and both parties decided to continue the project. We then had Jeff fill in on bass and began to round out the set. On 8-13-2008 we had Mike Longoria (bassist for Withered/Waited) record our first four song demo within our practice space. SOT plans on touring the southeast extensively and eventually dominating the rest of the planet within the years to come. We currently have a limited pressing of 500 7" vinyl for all those that wish to bask within the graces of Tonatiuh...”
