he debut 7" consists of early sketches from the new Atlanta band Battlecat which are reminiscent of phantom limbs and DIO. Battlecat has already surpassed expectations on ridiculous levels. Forming only earlier this year in January of 2006 and not having even completed a full set of music to be perfomed live Battlecat is an all-star cast featuring Jeff Burgoon (Airoes, ex-Portrait, ex-Kossabone Red, ex-Electrosleep Int'l), Mike Keenan (Hawks, Airoes, ex-Electrosleep Int'l, ex-.Wheeljack.), Sean Fitzgerald (Hawks, ex-Electrosleep Int'l), and Pat Clarici (ex-Portrait, ex-Downpour). The much anticipated arrival of the dual bassist new saviors of the Atlanta rock scene has been leaked via internet and cd-r copies of cd-r copies but have remained elusive in any other format until this release of a beautiful white and blue marble, full color cover 7" recorded by Hawk's Andrew Wiggins.
