After a long hiatus and lots of tinkering in studios in Berlin, Amsterdam and St. Petersburg, BOUDOIR is releasing their 2nd album, "Separation Anxiety" on Wave Records. BOUDOIR is an Amsterdam-based project formed by two founding members of San Francisco's SMITTEN, Ala Sharon and Damon Fries. Influenced by groups such as My Bloody Valentine and Cocteau Twins, Boudoir's sound ranges from atmospheric and dreamy ethereal to heavy, distorted shoegazey anthems. Their debut album, 'Currency of the Soul', was released by Pandaimonium Records in Germany after being discovered and signed by Ronny Moorings from Clan Of Xymox. With a new live lineup including Ronald Renirie on drums, Raymond Rotteveel on bass and Vera Kertesz on keys and guitar, Boudoir has recently played gigs in Amsterdam and Utrecht and is gearing up for more shows to support the new album in 2013.
