When a group of any class or condition presents a new album, the promoter usually emphasizes that this album is DIFFERENT from the previous ones. Often this is not true. In the case at hand, however, this statement could not be more true. BRIGHTON 64 has recorded an album very different from what we were used to, both in the legendary era of the 80s and in this surprising second youth that the band has been experiencing since their reunion in 2011.

First of all, it is a double album, 20 songs in which the group from Barcelona has been able to unleash an unprecedented flow of creativity in a band with a career spanning more than 30 years. Secondly, the lyrics of El tren de la bruja take as their common thread an exclusive story by the renowned writer CARLOS ZANÓN, who has worked side by side with the brothers ALBERT and RICKY GIL to shape an album that thus becomes a splendid combination of pop music and literature that has few precedents in our country.

The solid contribution of the keyboardist JORDI FONTICH, the drummer ERIC HERRERA and the bassist PABLO JIMÉNEZ, together with the stellar appearances of KURT BAKER and RACHEL PLAYFAIR, the powerful production of SANTI GARCIA and the extraordinary artwork of ADRIÀ MARQUÈS make El tren de la bruja a a total work full of unexpected details.

The Witch's Train is not just the new DIFFERENT album by BRIGHTON 64 and CARLOS ZANÓN. It is a bittersweet tale that hurts like a punch, with a soundtrack that is not far behind in emotional forcefulness.
