Graboids – Buccleuch CDr - HANDMADE CDR
Swirling, atmospheric, droning, spacey instrumental rock is the Graboids calling card. The Charlottesville, Va.-based band has released "Bucclieuch" which is their debut EP. The graboids have a gift for crafting moody, guitar-driven tunes. Such seminal British bands as Spiritualized, Spaceman 3 and My Bloody Valentine have obviously had an impact on the Graboids. But the Graboids don't just make noise for noise sake. There are memorable melodies beneath the cacophony.
