Uncle Faust s/t CD - Sent to Stickfigure as brand new. The cd has a few very minor marks from not being packaged in a dust sleeve. The back panel of the digisleeve has a sticker on it near the upper right corner.
"The debut album of the Sardinian band Uncle Faust , composed of Fabio Cerina (formerly of Plasma Expander , Bron-y-aur, and Dandaure ) on guitar, Raffaele Pilia (formerly of Julia Ensamble and Pyramiden Project ) on guitar, and Antonio Pinna (formerly of Safir Nou and La Tarc ) on percussion. The collective has met at various times in varying lineups and has dedicated itself to the processing and construction of sonic material in the form of songs. From various sessions and gradual approaches since 2017, it has culminated in the physical embodiment of this album today. The album opens with Minuendo , a guitar that wanders towards bouncy improvisational shores, then Never With The Day , which sees the addition of Matteo Muntoni on bass, a crescendo of guitar and percussion duets, and off to post-rocky, mannered shores. Badly Broken Mandarins , also this song “fleshed out” by Marcello Carro ’s saxophone , features distended free-form improvisation and percussion. The Blue Rubber Eraser features disjointed and spastically structured math rock that penetrates deep into the listener’s mind. Finally, Sugar Cables , a guitar ride that lets the imagination wander towards desert shores. Listen to them, they deserve your earplugs." - Marco Paolucci
